Bon Voyage!
Posted on February 14, 2012 by Ana Soto-Canino
Bon Voyage to Academy of Art student Sylvia G., a 16-year old junior at Piscataway High School, who is off this month of February on a 10-day trip to sunny Barcelona, Spain! This is a cultural exchange trip with some 25 of her school classmates! We stressed to her that Barcelona is one of the great arts and culture capitals of the world, but she knew that already, of course! Sylvia, an amazing practitioner in our studio, is ready to see everything having to do with Picasso, Gaudi, Miro, and many others artists! We will post a photo of her trip as soon as she mails it to us, so stay tuned…

Academy student Sophia M-H, of Highland Park, engaged in a friendly competition with her fellow 5th grade classmates to render an image for Bartle Elementary School's upcoming yearbook. Hey, she won! Her mixed-media work was selected to grace the cover and we can't wait to see it. Meanwhile, congratualitions, Sophia!
